Ben Virgo
Pastor
Ben is married to Rachel and they have had seven children together, four of whom live with them at their council estate home in Bethnal Green. Ben also serves as a director at Christian Heritage London.
Our story
In 2010, captivated by a vision for bringing gospel light into the thick darkness of Tower Hamlets, Ben Virgo and a small nucleus of family and friends began to meet on Sundays.
For about a decade, the church plant met in Ben and Rachel’s family home. Growth was painfully slow but things began to pick up shortly after COVID. One week, the kitchen was so full that there was only standing room. That week, in God’s sovereign kindness, a door was opened to meet in a local hall.
Today, VPCC meets a stone’s throw away from Victoria Park—a small but vibrant community of believers who have a shared priority of encouraging one another in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Gil is married to Lucy. They live together with their daughter Phoebe in Bow. Gil is currently studying Theology at Union School of Theology.
Isaiah Jagdeo
Church Manager
Isaiah is married to Beth. They live together in Stratford. Isaiah works as a Mission Associate for Children, Youth & Schools at London City Mission.
Beth Jagdeo
Lead Kids Worker
Beth is married to Isaiah. During the week, she works with a medical charity.
Rachel Virgo
Life Skills Coach
Rachel is married to Ben. Besides her role as a mother, she serves the local community as a CAP Life Skills coach.
